Academy Status
Governors have been considering the merits of a move to Academy status for many months. A decision to register interest with the Department for Education in becoming an Academy was taken in November 2011. We have now formally registered our interest in becoming an Academy and are initiating the consultation process with all stakeholders. Only at the end of that process will the Governing Body take a final decision on whether or not to apply for Academy status. Click here for further information.
Bad Weather arrangements
In the event of bad weather forcing a CLOSURE of the school, information will be available on the school website, the school telephone number 01727 854726 and also on the Hertfordshire County Council website www.hertsdirect.org. Information should also be available on Three Counties Radio ( 95.5FM, 103.8 FM, 104.5 FM).
