GCSE Exams during Work Experience Week

Students will have either one or two GCSE exams during work experience week. These are both morning exams. Students will be expected to attend school to take their exam, and then go to their work experience placement for the rest of the day provided they can get there. Students should have told their work experience employer when they will be absent for the purposes of taking exams, and agreed a time that they will start work on that / those days.

Students should wear school uniform when coming into school to sit their exams. The only exception to this is if they are wearing smart business wear (ie suit) for work experience, in which case they may sit their exam wearing this instead of school uniform. If they are wearing more casual clothes for work experience then they must wear school uniform to sit their exam, and make arrangements to change before starting their work experience on that day.
