Each year the dance clubs and audition dancers take part in the Gym and dance display. This takes place in school at the end of January/beginning of February. All students are welcome to attend the clubs or audition their own pieces. The clubs take place at lunchtime and some rehearsals occur after school.
There are clubs for
Year 7
Years 8 and 9
Years 10, 11 and seniors
Tap club
Sixth form students help to run the clubs, which have a wide range of styles depending on chosen themes or choice of music. This year Mrs Lloyd, Ruth Ferguson and Megan Graham also help.
Every two years the senior dancers take part in the County Dance Festival. This takes place at the Alban Arena and is a celebration of dance across the county for all ages and abilities.
