Teacher in charge: Mr Panting

Beaumont Cricket focuses on teaching and coaching players in the basics in all three areas of the game – batting, fielding and bowling. There is a strong emphasis on developing good technique, enjoyment and understanding of how cricket is played. We encourage players to make their own decisions in the middle.

We run sides at Years 7, 8, 9 and 10. All sides compete in both the District and County Cup competitions and have enjoyed a good degree of success in both competitions in recent years. All teams also play friendly matches against other local schools on weekday evenings.

The PE department is grateful for the help of non-PE specialists who coach the teams and umpire matches for the school.
